Why Use an Air Purifier?

Every day the average adult breathes in up to 900 cubic feet of air. And the Environmental Protection Agency states that “since most people spend a majority of their lives indoors, the quality of indoor air is a major area of concern.” In fact, the large surface area of the lungs and the sensitivity of the tissues make them particularly susceptible to air pollution. Pollen, dander, smoke, and mold enter our bodies through our large and vulnerable lungs. Our Units help reduce all three of the major forms of air pollution: particles such as pollen, pet dander, dust, and cigarette smoke; microbes such as mold and bacteria; and gases and odors. That's especially critical since the Environmental Protection Agency consistently ranks indoor air pollution among the top five environmental risks to public health.

Air inside our homes may be more dangerous to breathe than the air outside.

Families are exposed to:
• Particulates: pollen, ash, dust, and dead skin cells, pet dander, cigarette smoke
• Microbials: bacteria, fungi, dust, and mold in heating and air ducts, bathrooms, basements and kitchens
• Gases: smelly or odorless fumes escaping from carpets, drapes, furniture, cleansers, and more

The Environmental Protection Agency called indoor air pollution one of the nation’s top environmental health concerns.

Air pollutants can cause or worsen:
• Eye and skin irritation
• Lung irritation
• Nose and throat discomfort
• Fatigue
• Unpleasantness from offensive odors

Our units help reduce all three of the major forms of air pollution: particles such as pollen, pet dander, dust, and cigarette smoke; microbes such as mold and bacteria; and gases and odors. That's especially critical since the Environmental Protection Agency consistently ranks indoor air pollution among the top five environmental risks to public health. Treat the indoor air you breathe up to 3,000 sq. feet!
