| The Gel Overlay mattresses are used as a mattress topper to prevent the development of pressure ulcers and bedsores. Our premium gel-overlay mattress uses a combination of soft cell foam that offers the patient greater support without compromising the cell structure of the mattress. The convoluted topper permits air circulation, reducing heat build up; this soft topper provides a much cooler more comfortable support surface. The inner core consists of six strategically placed gel bladders that are designed to reduce pressure while providing comfort to the patient.
